Transformation of Capoeira club website
Capoeira Itaparica is an organization that offers capoeira classes for active adults and children. Despite having an extensive library of photos and videos, their original website did not showcase their activities, expertise, and offer effectively. The website was not consistent, engaging, and did not highlight their differentiating factors from other local clubs. As a result, they were losing potential clients who were unable to understand their offerings and expertise.
To address this, I worked with the organization to revamp their website.
We focused on creating a more professional and engaging online presence that would showcase their activities and expertise and present them as an academy.
We then developed a new design that featured more prominently the organization's different activities, with a clear and easy-to-navigate layout.
We created a dedicated section on the website to highlight their extensive photo and video library.
We developed a FAQ section on the website to address the repetitive questions they received via phone and email, saving them time and allowing them to focus on other aspects of their business.
To improve the website's functionality, I also wanted to bring more personality to the design. I achieved this by incorporating using brighter colors throughout the website, which not only made it more visually appealing. I also repurposed their old icons and turned them into fun patches, adding a playful touch to the overall design.
It was important for Capoeira Itaparica group to be taken more seriously and seen as an academy rather than a local club. To achieve this, I gave the website a more professional and polished look that reflected their expertise and diverse range of activities. By creating a clean, modern design that showcased their extensive library of footage from past events, classes, and tutorials, we were able to effectively highlight their unique offerings and set them apart from their competitors.
